Privacy Policy

This policy covers Engageily Creators (creators.engageily.com). It adds to the Engageily privacy policy, which applies to the same account.

1. What we collect

  • Account: your email address, used to sign in with a one-time code.
  • Creator profile: the name, headline, bio, location, languages, niches, collaboration formats, rates, website and social account details you enter.
  • Brand account: your company name, type, website, country and description.
  • Messages and briefs you send, saved lists, campaigns, unlocks, notifications and billing status.
  • Technical logs such as IP address for security and abuse prevention.

2. What is public

Nothing is public until a creator publishes. A published profile shows the creator's name, picture, headline, a short bio preview, location, languages, niches, and each platform's audience size with a label showing whether it is verified. Search engines may index published profiles. The full bio, social handles and links, engagement figures, collaboration formats and rates are visible only to the creator and to brand accounts that unlocked the profile. Creators can unpublish at any time, after which the profile page stops being served.

3. Verified data from Instagram and YouTube

Instagram: if you connect your Instagram Business or Creator account through Instagram's official login, we read your username, account type, profile picture, follower, following and post counts, and your recent posts' likes and comments to calculate an engagement rate. We store your access token encrypted, never show it, and do not read messages or post for you. Disconnect any time, or remove Engageily in Instagram settings, and we delete the connection and the data. See the Engageily privacy policy for deletion details.

YouTube: we read public channel information through the YouTube Data API (title, description, subscriber, view and video counts). Ownership is proven by a code you place in your channel description; no Google sign-in is used.

Numbers you type yourself are stored and displayed as self-reported.

4. How we use data

To run your account and profile, let brands find creators, deliver enquiries and messages, send the notifications and emails you allow, process payments and prevent abuse. We do not sell personal data.

5. Sharing

With brands you choose to engage with, as described above; with service providers that run the product (hosting, email through Brevo, payments through Dodo Payments); and where the law requires it.

6. Your choices and deletion

You can edit or unpublish your profile, control email notifications in Settings, disconnect Instagram, and delete your creator profile or your whole Engageily account. Deleting removes your profile, connections, messages and lists. Payment records are kept without your email for accounting. Active paid plans must be cancelled before an account is deleted.

7. Security

Connections use HTTPS, tokens are encrypted, access to messages and brand data is limited to the people in the conversation, and payment webhooks are signature-verified.
