How to Build a Creator Media Kit That Brands Actually Read

Engageily Team · Published October 14, 2026

A media kit saves a brand the work of figuring you out. It should answer, in one page, the questions a marketer has before replying to a pitch. Aim for clarity, not decoration.

What to include

1. A short introduction

Who you are, what you make and what makes your content different, in three or four sentences. Add a clear photo.

2. Your audience

Follower or subscriber counts for each platform, with the platform names. Add engagement if you can measure it and say how you calculated it, for example "(likes + comments) / followers over my last 12 posts". Include location and language of your audience only if you read them from the platform's own analytics.

Say which numbers are verified. On Engageily Creators, connected Instagram accounts and verified YouTube channels are labelled so brands know what comes from the platform.

3. Examples of your work

Three to five links or images of your best, most relevant content, plus past collaborations if you have them. Choose examples that match the kind of brand you are pitching.

4. What you offer

List your formats (Reel, Stories, video integration, dedicated video, UGC, affiliate) and what each includes. Give starting rates or "rates on request", and note usage rights, revisions and turnaround time.

5. Contact

An email you check, a link to your profile and your preferred way to be contacted.

What to leave out

  • Numbers you cannot back up.
  • Long personal history. One paragraph is enough.
  • Too many design effects that hide the information.
  • Out-of-date statistics. Update the kit every quarter.

A simple layout

Top: your name, photo and one-sentence description. Middle: a two-column section with audience numbers on the left and your best examples on the right. Below: services with starting rates, then contact details. Use one or two fonts and plenty of space so it reads quickly on a phone.

Keep a version for each type of brand

A skincare brand cares about different examples than a gaming brand. Keep the same facts but change the featured work and the first paragraph for the audience you are pitching. Update the numbers each time you send it.

Disclosures and honesty

Describe past partnerships accurately, and do not call something verified unless the platform shows it. Brands often check, and an accurate kit builds more trust than a flattering one.

Keep it to one or two pages

Send it as a PDF or link it from your bio. Your Engageily Creators profile works as a living media kit that is always current: it shows your niches, location, languages, audience and what you are open to, and unlocks full details for brands that are interested.

Create your free profile and link to it in pitches.
